Nate’s passion for business (particularly SMBs), finance and investing ultimately lead him to Strada Financial Group. He recently joined Strada as the COO, handling the day to day business operations, while also leading our growth initiatives and overseeing our consulting services.
He grew up with a father that was a small business owner. As a child, he spent many hours working with his dad at his Dental office. Although his dad couldn’t convince him to become a dentist, he did instill in him a love for business. While in high school Nate’s uncle got him interested in investing. At the age of 17, he decided to open a brokerage account and began trading stocks. He would spend a lot of his free time talking with his dad and uncle about investment opportunities. Nate really enjoyed analyzing companies, and always tried to dissect what made some successful while others failed.
Over the past several decades, he has taken that love for business & investing and merged them together to help companies make sound investment decisions. Nate believes the principles that make companies financially strong are the same principles that help individuals and families become financially secure.
Nate’s career began at GE where he worked closely with many small businesses. He then moved on to several other corporations where he managed the finances of several large divisions. Most recently, he oversaw strategic initiatives and merger/acquisition activities of a billion-dollar corporation.
What do you like to do in your spare time? “I love to travel and take family vacations. You can usually find us on a Caribbean beach or the Florida coast. I also love watching my kids work hard and excel. My oldest daughter does competitive gymnastics and my son plays competitive baseball, which means I spend I lot of time at practices, meets, and tournaments. With what little time I have left, I enjoy snowboarding, playing softball, and golfing.”
