Brian’s journey to Strada Financial Group began as a 6th grader when he job shadowed Stan Hardy (former owner of Hardy & Holmes, now Strada Financial Group). Ever since that day he dedicated his schooling and professional career to one day take over Stan’s business when he retired, which is where he stands today as the CEO and head Wealth Advisor of our company.
His motivation to do what he does stems from his experience of seeing too many people make poor financial decisions either because they didn’t know any better or they were given bad advice. He desires to help make a real positive impact on individual lives. He believes his mission in life is to end financial illiteracy one individual, one family, and one generation at a time, that with proper teaching and education anyone can have the life they dream of if they are willing to put in the work required to get there.
He graduated from Brigham Young University in Accounting and completed his Master’s in Taxation from Boise State University. His career began at a large CPA firm in Portland, then he moved to a very large asset management firm after a few years and then took over for Stan Hardy in 2015 running what is now Strada Financial Group.
What do you like to do in your spare time? “I spend most of my free time with my four kids and my awesome wife. But when I have a few extra hours, I love mowing my lawn, yard work, and racing in triathlons. I did two half ironmans in 2019 and it was both the worst experience and biggest motivation in my life going forward to do more and be better.”
